Is there a section that I'm not seeing for build ups? If not, then how about if we make a section dedicated to the builds of our cars. One thread per car or user would make sense.

we used to have a "project section", and our intent was for people who were say, starting with a V6 95 vert and building into with an 09 gt500 drivetrain...but it turned out to be a "hey look at my project", and when you went into the thread, the project was someone putting on headlight covers or painting their pony/engine cover.

 

I can definitely see that happening on this board, lol. I know on a couple other boards it's major builds only, with progress updates or looking back on the entire progression of a project.

I'm Not trying to put any more work on you but I think if it were moderated well and the rules are define clearly we might be able to avoid, "Look at my headlight" threads.

Either way, it was just a suggestion.

i think that might be something more useful within the tech sections, as lots of people dont leave their tech section, but then the threads wouldnt see as much traffic...
