Thumbs up Site staff, moderators, Administrators

Why not have a an area-thread where all administrators and staff are easily identified.

I know that in the past I have attempted to make contact with one individual that never returned my queries.

Moreover, since when did MF involve itself in politics or support politics in their advertising??

Thanks for your attention in advance

Hi, and thanks for asking.

The other evening while I was reading the forums, a particular advertisement from google had a disturbing link to Rob Ford.
He happens to be running for mayor here in Toronto.

I was pretty pissed that such negative publicity was supported by MF.

Anyhow, it has not appeared again(which I am thankful for) because he is a good guy who happened to make a mistake. I believe that one of the other candidates(running for mayor) was involved in the negative publicity.

Mustang Forums is about the love of the car, politics belongs somewhere else.

Thanks for caring

....that is really random. I have not seen any political ads in the past that I can remember...but maybe some ads are based off of a user's ip address or location....I dunno how all that works.

as far as the political ads all i can do is agree with 99gtvert.
internet ads are often generated base on your search history, or IP location.
for example i've been on textbook-ordering website and have seen side ads for americanmuscle.com advertising 10% off select fox body items. somehow the two dont exactly seem related lol.
on the other hand if i get on the same site on a campus computer ill see some random ad in its place. in short Mustangforums isnt directly responsible for the ads nor does it endorse any political party or organization etc. sites like this rent out ad space and then the ad companies put up ads they were paid to put up.
if it really bothers you id pm Demon340. Hes the head Admin here.
