I have been a member for years and cannot reply to post. When I first joined, I tried numerous times but no luck. Decided to try again. Please help, Fred.

 

You need to have a certain amount of posts to be able to respond to some threads. I noticed when I first joined and tried to post, it would tell me I'm unable to. Get your post count up.

 

he may be quite right as sometimes it has happened to me as well when i have tried to post on other forums but no luck as there are no comment permissions granted to me unless i reach to a specified sum of the post count but do not know how to reach at that count if i am not allowed to comment on any there .. dunno what is wrong ?

 

Some sections require 50 posts. What sections were you trying?

That is one of the restricted sections.

..well, to be able to post a new thread in classifieds and street strip, yes. They lifted the restrictions in off topic though.
