Ok for some strange reason I spent over 15 minutes trying to login using the Facebook link button thing, it doesn't work, I click it but nothing happens, so I wind up trying to reset my password twice, no go there, then i attempt to login using my username and password using the standard way to login (not the Facebook button) and still no joy and get locked out for 15 mites


15 minutes later I try again, no joy, so I go to another computer (an apple macbook) and try the Facebook button again, no joy on that machine, so i reattempt to use the standard way (not the Facebook button) and the reset password email I had recently, and finally got in to a message stating I was still locked out but was able to click on my profile name and get to the CP to change my password to what I want it to be, with out issue.


not really sure whats going on here but just wanted to post that I was having this issue on two different computers and let someone know!!! thanks!

Has that happened before when trying to log in with the Facebook?

only for that period of time, how ever today it seemes to be working correctly, I did (yesterday while troubleshooting) attempt to clear cookies, reset browser (chromium), and test in an alternate browser (internet explorer) and reset that back to factory defaults, clear cookies, browser cache (both browsers) and no joy, even uninstalled and reinstalled chromeium to no joy, and even turned off any and all security programmes to ensure no interferences were occureing still to no joy, and even tested on another computer (MacBook using safari with all settings set to default) to no joy, went to bed and tested this morning on my Apple macbook (using safari) and it worked, so I repeated on the PC that had the issue originally and also got joy on logging in with the FB option.


so I am really not entirely sure what occured (im assumeing something between forum side and FB communication side was buggered for a bit and got resolved as its been ok all day)


sorry if I went into too much detail its the computer tech inside me kicking in here...
