Deactivate Account

Deactivate Account
To the Mustang Forums community and the website administrator,
I did not find a way to deactivate my online account in the control panel of my account in the Mustang Forums website. Additionally, I did not receive a response after I sent messages to the forum administrator via the e-mail contact form of the website. I left the Mustang Forums community, so I will not use my online account any more. The issue I am experiencing is: I asked for my online account to close via the e-mail contact form in the website, yet my account is still active.
A process for account deactivation should be added to the Mustang Forums website.
Best,
George9999

If that would be, the account would be readily available for a hacker to hijack, the "dormant" account adds to the upkeep of the website, and it adds to the number of dead accounts in the website so member search is more difficult. The account does not "just sit," and you did not solve any relevant problem. I'm sure more negatives can be added to that list in the context of the solution you have mentioned. I entirely disagree that my account should remain active/accessible in the website when I do not plan to use it.

How about they REALLY **** you off, keep the account, and make it so you can't post...
