Default Bad water pump

I have a 65 coupe with a 200 ci 3.3 liter 6 cylinder and I’m trying to determine if my water pump is bad the car is getting extremely hot (overheating) and I’m not sure why. I have a 160 degree thermostat in it and it works and I have antifreeze in every hose to include the heater core hose but it’s still overheating. Any suggestions or input.

If the upper and lower radiator hoses are getting hot, the water is circulating somewhat indicating the thermostat is working and the pump to some degree. Perhaps the radiator is clogged up and not allowing enough circulation to cool the water. Usually when the pumps go bad you will see water seeping out of a hole in the bottom of the pump
