Default de-badging

I want to get rid of all the stupid badges on my car. I know about heating them up then taking line and taking them off and using goo-gone... all that good stuff.

my question is, there is a hole in the body where the badge used to be. SUPRISE! big gaping hole! so how can i patch it up? I can deal with sanding/repainting if i do patch it, but how do I patch it? Sticking a glob of bondo won't work, I already thought of that. Am i going to have to weld something there to fix it?

You would have to get plates welded in place to cover the holes...

I replaced my stock fugly badges with 99+ GT badges....."shaving" them isn't worth the money.

The only badge I would consider shaving is the fugly blue oval on the back[:@]

Won't denting the nickle sized hole down so it's the size of a quarter+ warp the rest of the piece you're trying to fix?

You'd have to weld a piece in there, or just buy a new blank fender and paint to match.
