Default 351 swap? and BUMPY FUel delivery prob???

Ive been talking about doing it. and i finally have the means to..because of this problem im having with my car. Every little often i felt a sudden drop in 300 RPMs and like a bumpy feeling. as if i lost Horsepower. and signficant amount of it!!. now its getting a whole lot worse and the bumps come more often.it happens everytime theres load on the car in high gear when i give it gas. its even more bumpy as i floor it. and i thought maybe it was a fuel delivery problem and it still could be. so i filled it to the top of gas and i still feel it. FUel pump? maybe the fuel filter? Timing? or i think it might be the ignition too because now that im running 91 octane more often with the Supercharger that could be it? could be alot of things. but has someone felt this before? and know what it is?

Need help on the 351 Swap. I know the block is a little taller than the 302. but should everything from the 302 bolt up like the headers etc? or should i just buy a car that has had a 351 in it and take all the parts from it to use?

Many parts are interchangeable but not all of them..youll have to buy different headers. If you are mechanically inclined and looking for a certain horsepower range then id build one yourself..Youll be able to control what goes into the swap.

I figured out what was wrong.... LOL as lazy and busy at the same time as i was. i never checked the ignition system. The distributor rotor was MELted and the T for the arc was completely missing. i just replaced it along with a new cap. and knowing that the spark plugs are probably fouled too. but the bumps are GONE!! hehehehehe. still doing the 351 swap though. and omg it has so much more hp .. all the missing hp just came back. hahaha

thx for telling me about the headers not fitting though

FRom what you dscribed i new it had to timing or ignition.

A bad pick up coil can and will do the same thing.
