my friends are like yea did u see that new Boss mustang around town... so im thinking somthing from the 70's. but i see it and its a 99+ mustang with orangs stripes and the word boss all over it. it has 40th aniversery markers so its an 04. non-functional hood scoop, duel exhaust with GT bumper, but no GT badges. just a big 4.6 HO bage. is this just a decal package that came from ford (he has the dealerships vinyl still on the car.)

I don't recall Ford making an 04 Boss Mustang. Previous owner, if there was one, probably just bought a full on striping kit to make it look like a Boss.

^^ What they said. Plus, I've never heard of a 4.6 High Output engine. I have heard of the 5.0 H.O. engine though.

ford did make one new edge "boss" but it was a concept car with a 351 v10 4v engine. i think shelby is using it in his new cars.

there were a couple of GT's at one dealership that had boss makings on them from the factory. saw them when i was car shopping.
