Default Car Wont Start. Help Please

My 2000 v6 wont start. The battery has 12.6 volts but it wont even try to start. I cleaned the battery terminals because there was a good amount of curosion and even tried to jump it off another car but it still wont start. Any ideas besides buying new battery cables?

Nope not the starter. Because with the keys turned on to accessories the windows wont roll down, cant lock the doors or anything. If It was the starter the car would try to start but make that clicking noise. When I try to start the car it does nothing.

Sounds like maybe your ignition switch, cuz if your light and accessories don't come on, it may not be reading that you are turning the key on

Nope because If I turn it on to accessories my clock will turn on and say 12:00 even If I try to correct it and take the key out when I put it back in it says 12:00.

Well I cleaned the terminals again and tried to jump it off and it started so I drove it home but it wont start without a jump off. The alternator is kicking out 14.3 volts under throttle so I know thats working and I check the battery and all the cells are good except for one that is fair. Im pretty sure its the battery dieing when trying to start it. This happened on my buddies 00 V6 so Im pretty sure thats what it is.
