Default how much timing to retard

with stock timing, and 87 gas.. i sprayed a 100 wet shot with no problems at all. I got the diablosport for christmas, and since then, have not sprayed. I installed the "diablo tune" and ALSO increased timing to +9 (its measured differently then degrees, perhaps %). I ran 93 gas with this tune with no problems. If i wanted to spray again tonight, what should i retard the timing to, without removing the "diablo tune" which would f**k up my check engine light, traction control delete, and fuel curves. Shoudl i set it back to 0? or would that still be higher than stock due to the "diablo tune" Keep in mind that im now running 93 gas instead of 87 (which i sprayed with stock timing with no problems.) i dont want to damage my engine.

u never had a problem running regular gas?? i thought nitrous required higher octane and you have to put 93 in.

You should always run the highest octane you can when spraying, just because he got away with running 87 does not mean you will. He might have been running on the edge of disaster, and not have even known it.
