Default ok..another tire question PLEASE HELP!!

Ok, I'm looking to buy a set of barely used tires from this guy who has a 350Z. They are the stock Bridgestone tires that came with the car, the rears are 245/40/18, and the fronts are 225/40/18. Would I be able to put these on my aftermarket 18X7.5 chrome rims without any problems?? I had 235/40/18s all around before, but I am not familiar with wider tires in the rear, and thinner tires in the front...will this change the height of the car in the back/front? Is this safe to do? Thanks a lot for any help guys..please just repond to the thread, pm me or email me at MatthewBrown6320761@yahoo.com. My car is a 2004 Mustang V-6.

Ya, but I heard from some 350Z owners that the tires stunk. That is probably why the guy is trying to get rid of them. Get new ones for less money at Tire Rack or Discount Tire. You will be better off in the long run. If the take offs wore oddly at all, you'll hate yourself.
