Hey everyone. Im new here and i think this is a great site. Well here we go im getting an 88GT auto, and i want it to scream and sound loud and mean. What kind of exhaust does everyone recommend for me, and what should be the first things I buy for it? Any help would be greatly apprecated and helpful. Thank you.

Flowmasters for sure. First thing you should buy for your car is gears 4:10's.

that depends how loud u want ur car. Do u want interior resonance? Are u going to do headers and o/r H pipe? If u want it loud go with an offroad H pipe and 2 chamber flows. However they do have a good amount of interior sound as well.

If you want loud and mean, the SLP loudmouth sounds good w/ an H pipe, too. With that auto, 4.10's should absolutely be your first mod though.

You have the 8.8 rear end and there are many good brands out there. Ford racing is one of the most popular, but there are other good ones to.

Are there any local shops around you that do gear installs? It shouldn't run you more than $400-450 including the gears and the install....probably will be less than that.
