Default frame damage

Found out some bad news yesterday, found out that the 03 GT i bought about a year and some change ago has frame damage....i went to go trade it in on a 03 cobra and they pulled a carfax report that said the car had been in an accident in kentucky and there was frame damage reported....i have a loan out on it still is there anything i can make the car dealer that sold it to me do?????? do they have to disclose any info like that before they sell it??? it said it was in a collision repair facility a month after it was recked but it doesn't say if the frame was repaired or not......also my front tires wear funny on the outside of the tires could this be from the accident???? because i've had a front end alignment done once already.......thanks

you should have ran a carfax on the car before you bought it. that was your first mistake. I dont think dealerships have to tell you anythig unless you ask. I think your gonna have to sell it on your own or keep it. Tire wear that is strange could be from frame damage maybe get the car inspected

I agree with antiv6.You might have a GOOD collision repair shop go in and look for any damage but this late in the game it will probably be up to you to get it fixed. Some states have "rebuilt" titles was this title clean? There has to be some legal eagles out there who know more about your situation, maybe there's some kind of disclosure law in your state????
Carfax isn't perfect but it saved me from buying a very reasonably priced low mileage Mustang that had three owners in less than a year.
One thing you can do that might give some satisfaction is to post the name of this pillar of honesty and hope that someone sees it and won't buy a car from them.

well heres what happened......i went back to the dealer and they put the car on the lift and took a look at it, they said the frame rails have never been touched but it's had upper unibody repairs so they gave me 14k for an auto 03 with 41k miles on it and i got an 04 manual with 11k miles on it for 18.5k so they helped me out a lot.....they also let me get all my parts off my other one and helped me pay to have them put on my other car......so all is well, thanks for the posts

It sounds like you do have an honest dealer or at least one that treats the customer like a human being instead of an idiot with money to give away.
