Default Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter

Hey just a quick question here.......i recently bought a Cobra which the previous owner installed a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter on. Sometimes when driving its hard to get it into the gear mainly when going into reverse. It doesnt grind or anything just hard to put it in gear. Anyone know what might be the cause of this or if there could be an adjustment to fix this problem? The car only has a little over 39,000 miles on it and has been serviced frequently. The clutch seems to be in perfect condition and i dont think its that. Thanks

Mine does the same every once and a while. Just really hard to get in rev. Maybe once a week if even that often. Have you tried putting it in 3rd before you go into Reverse? It is supposed to realign everything to make it easier to get into Rev.

Yeah i found that out to....if i have trouble going into reverse then i usually go through another gear then try it again and it works. So basically theres no real way to fix that?

No, it's just an issue with the transmission. It's "normal" but annoying either way.

It was done that way to keep you from accidentally putting it into reverse. Just put it in first then reverse
