I have a 92 LX 5.0 convertible and i have had it about a month. I replaced the power steering pump about a week ago and i was driving it today and noticed a whineing sound. I looked around some didnt notice anything not normal but the sound was comeing from under the car. Ground level, also you cant really hear it till u get between 2 and 3 thousand rpm's. Any ideas??? thanx

 

whining when you turn the steering wheel, whining noise when you drive the car on two wheels sideways..... whining noise when you what?

 

When the car is sitting and during normal driving.

 

Did you make sure you got all the air bubbles out of the system?Mine whined until i did that as well.
