what is the difference between 6000k, 8000k, and 10000k? they are all $300 on http://www.stangmods.com/mustang_hid_lights_s/61.htm the link was on this forum. havent priced around yet. is $300 a good price or should i keep looking

it all has to do with colors

the LOWER u go the whiter the light is the higher u go the colors start changing

yes, because the "K" actually stands for Kelvin which is a unit used to measure temperature

6000K is the brightest (most visible light) The other ones are progressively more purple.

ok i got it. is $300 a good price or can i find better. ive seen them on ebay for $200 but you never really know what your getting on ebay. plus i try to keep my ebay purchases cheap

depends on what u want.....

most bulbs have a 1 yr warranty...i think

xtec makes a 9007 kit and all their products have alifetime warranty on em(all of them even the bulbs)

i bought the HI/LOW kit by xtec but if i had to do it over again i would get projector headlamps and get the xtec kit(H1 OR H3 depending on the housings you would buy) to fit into them

i disagree on that part, mine are fine and nice and bright but i dont like the unfocus issues i have with the 9007 housing on the stang
