NY cost me $ 50 every 2 years.. so $ 25 a year not too bad Up to 8 letters and you can do it online. too

 

I had ABX4318.... then someone stole my plate, and after I got over being pissed I got 94302. I don't like custom plates that are too obvious but I wanted it to mean something... I don't remember exactly how much I paid but its pretty cheap in MI.

You can always go to your local DMV website and type in the plate name u want and it will tell u if its available or not and how many letters u can have

personally i have my plate exactly as my name here

 

i thought about personilzed plates once, then figured it would be real easy to get reported, if you do lots of stupid stuff that is

 

not if your personal plate is somthing like "l11j1llj"
