When I pop the trunk, it takes considerable effort to lift it up. It feels like a ton, and when i try to pull up, I feel the "shocks" putting up resistance. Can I regulare their resistance somehow or do I have to get new ones. How much do you think they are?

Your stock lift struts are probably worn out, you are looking at about $50 for a pair from your local parts store.

 

^^i agree. i have the same problem but im too lazy to replace mine.

yea you can fix them yourself, you can pick them up at advance auto parts. itll be like 50$ for the pair.. there easey to replace..
