Im looking to do some tunning, and i was curious about how dyno time works, do you pay by the run, by the hour etc.

down here 1 pull for 60.00 ,,or 3 pulls for 105.00 ..an extra 30.00 for mixture probe...i go for the 3 pulls the highest #s seems to be on the last run..328rwhp here,,

when tuning, you usually pay buy the hour. or you can rent the dyno out all day if you want

In TN they charge by hour. Friend had his dyno tuned for $200 bucks an hour. The people said it would be for only 2 hours. The tuning helped his GT out alot but still won't beat my cobra.

hell yea ,,thats high but only place in town........[]and they know it.........

Would you recomend that i have them do a pro dyno tuning? What kind of results are possible from that?

depends on your car. if its almost stock, it probably wouldnt be worth the cost of a tune. but if your FI, a tune is necesarry.

my dyno shop could even tune a 4.6,,,they like LS1s..and LT1s camaros there ******** over there,,,,,,i wont go there again...
