I am having a check engine light come on and when I put the computer on it, it seems to be an EGR problem. I was wondering if there is anyone else that has had a similar problem and if so what they did to correct it. I looked it up in my Chilton and there can be many different things with the EGR valve. Any ideas would be a great help.

what year is it? if its before 96 deleate it, take it al off and make a plate to cover the whole on the top bend of the upper intake... ( its just extra weight anyway!

 

it is a 2001 v6.
