engine swaps
I have a general question about engine swaps: If it is obvious the motor will fit under the hood of the car, are the motor mounts the only thing you have to change to make it fit? (assuming that there is a trans attactched too)(example: putting a ford motor into an old camaro or something). Also, do they make special motor mounts for swapping, for example, a 4.6 into a 5.0? It might be a basic question, but i was just wondering, thanks.

The biggest issues to watch for are clearance from the firewall to the radiator, clearance across the engine bay, and depending on what transmission you get, clearance through the transmission tunnel.
A 4.6 should fit in a 5.0's bay... I think the 5.0 is a little wider... if it's not, even, it can be shoehorned in

Yeah, anything is possible, really... you could make one hell of a bastard child vehicle.
