Default Calibrating the TPS

Can anyone leave a few steps on how to adjust the TPS on the throttle body? Accufab mentions using a voltmeter I believe, on some component, and it should be no more than 0.98 volts and 1 volt, so I suppose ideally 0.99 volts.
