Has anyone relocated their battery to the trunk? if so can you take some pics where you did and tell me how you bolted your box to the body? thanks.

I just bolted the hold down to the trunk pan. Not really much to it. I put it on the drivers side to avoid the gas tank.

It's a gell filled sealed battery. Not acid! Can be mounted upside down if needed to be.

I bought it from out Interstate battery supplier. I'm sure you can get them from Summit or the like. They are $$$ though. Like around $120.00

Make sure you put an external cutoff switch if you plan on racing at the track. Also it's best to put on the passenger side for traction. In a hatchback you are also required to have a firewall between the passenger compartment and the hatch area if you don't put the battery in a sealed box.
