Hi I have a 95 coupe, the turn signals and the flashers stopped working........ brake lights work , fuses are ok... unless there is one somewhere other than the one under the dash... dont know where the relay is, but if it were that I understand there are seperate ones for both the signals and hazards... also when i activate the lever no lights not even staedy.. ANYONE have any ideas im stumped on this....

This is going to sound crazy but take some sort of spray wd40,electric spray,and spray it around your flasher button on the column work it several times and that should cure your problem.

I work as a service mgr at a ford dealership so i've come across this a few times.It might not be that but its a start.

 

If that doesn't help, your flasher unit may need to be replaced... it's up under the steering wheel also, near the center console... You'll probably have to lay in there to see it, it's yellow... The whole thing is attached to a metal clip, slide it up and away from the plug to get it off, then you can work on getting it off the plug.

 

this is why you dont take your car to a dealership.... that is the most rediculous thing i have heard of. It is the flasher unit like shadow drake said...about 5 bucks at autozone. and you're car wont smell like wd40 now!

 

He may need a multifunction switch if that doesnt fix the problem,But i have seen on several cars that if you spray dome electric spray around the hazard button and work the button you get those functions back.Dont knock mine or other dealerships(just trying to help a fellow out)and i wouldnt charge the cust if that didnt fix the prob.
