i bought a kit for my 84 mustang that converts the sealed beams to the H4's now i'm not sure what the wiring for the headlights is rated to hold? any idea what the wattage of the stock bulbs are? has anyone done this before? any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Yea I've done that H4 Quartz Halogen conversion on several older cars, it's a GREAT upgrade & helps night driving a LOT!!

I'm not sure what the wattage specs are of the car or the old bulbs, but the conversion is designed to be plug&play, the factory harness can handle the power no problem.

 

yeah i hope they just plug and play by the sounds of it they should though
