how long does it take to burn off.? should i take it on the interstate for 100 miles or some got 50 miles right now still smokes. in town driving dogged it 3 times really good its a 03 mach1

 

You got oil "in" the exhaust or "on" the exhaust?? You spilled some on the header while topping up, or is the engine leaking oil? Kinda a big difference...

If the oil is "on" the exhaust just take some engine degreaser & wash it off.

 

well long story.flood car no water in motor but 2 cly. got moisture in then so i run some mavrel mys oil ,spraying in back of intake at this time the right side CAT came apart melted from other owner , thats the side that smoking . i cut the cats open gutted them the size that the cat come apart i'am think that some of the cat when in the muffler and is still smoking its not an oil smell or coolant it smeels like mystery oil burning might have got caught in that rt. side muffler
