I'm about 6 foot 3 inches, wiegh about 280 but Im a football player, a lineman, Im 17 years old. Just wondering if a new 06 GT Premium Mustang is too small for me. Will I have enough leg room. I can fit inside my sister's small 1999 Toyota Carolla with an okay amount of room. I've always loved Mustangs, and I am wondering if u guys can determine if I will have enough leg room, or just fit in it comfortablly.

 

not ot hijack but i was wondering the same thing about foxes.. i'm 6'5 and was told with my clod hopper shoes i'd have trouble shifting a mustang?

 

So do you think I would be fine with a Mustang let alone a manuel transmission. Could I fit, I weigh 280 but Im so tall.

 

well i am 6'4 about 200lbs and i fit inside my 95gt. and as far as the guy asking about the shoe size i wear a 14 and shift fine. i also have a friend that has a 88notch thats 6'3-6'4 225 and he fits fine in his stang so i am assuming u would be fine but to find out for sure test drive them and find out

 

I wear a 13 size shoe, I hope to god I will be able to fit in a Stang, their the most beautiful car I have seen in my life.

I don't think you will have a problem with that. I'm 6'3" and ~330 pounds - wear a size 13 shoe. I have no problem at all fitting in my '96 (surprises the hell out of me too). It's also a manual, and I have no problem shifting gears. BUT I have kind of short legs, and a long upper body so that may be a difference between me and you. I don't think you'll have a problem, though, if the 06's have as much room as the 96's.

 

i fit fine in my fox im only 6ft but im 320lbs its comfterable with the seat all the way back of course

 

Im 6'2 @ 210lbs and fit fine with lots of room left over in my 95 gt. im sure you will be just fine. there are "mods" out there that will allow you to put your seat back further, etc if you would have to, but you shouldnt have anything to worry about. Go to a stealership and sit in one before you buy though

 

I've been searching the dealerships down here for 1 to test drive but there are no foxes to be found. Not even a 4 cyl. I figured i'd fit but thought i'd ask when i saw the thread. I drive my mom's S2000 on occasion but people actually laugh when they see me put the car around me.

Only reason I was concerned about shifting is my shoes are 13EEE and a buddy said the pedals are so close i won't be able to not hit 2 at once.
