i like the PB myself, i'm sure about heating the headers though, try to combine two wrenchs to get some leverage first

I always had good luck with the "Liquid Wrench" brand of penetrating oil myself. I didn't have that much trouble getting the bolts out of mine and I did it after owning the car for 6 years. do like you said, soak them good about twice a day for a day and then use a pull bar and 12 point socket on them and ease them loose. you don't want to wring one off as that will be a pain in the *** to deal with. be easy with the heat, too easy to damage something else while you using it.

yeah, i've never really had much trouble with mine neither, but depends on header if you can use a socket and rachet. i just use a open end wrench and put a little weight behind it.

Ive never had any problems on mine. But i always use a heating torch to get them hot them back them out slowly.

I suggest you get some high temp anti seize for the new bolts so that this isnt a problem.I use it on my spark plugs, header bolts, intake.Anywhere i may need to get them off easily in the future.Just remember a little goes a long ways.

There's a pentrating lube made by toyota that's amazing. It's all my buddy uses, I can't remember what the specific name is though.

The shop I work for uses PB Blast and I have heard no complaints. Soak it down the day before and let it sit 24 hours. I have seen some amazing results.

WD 40 ain't really a penetrating oil, it's more of an all purpose lubricant but if it works for you, go for it!
