waxing a car once a week won't do any damage, nor will it do any good. You'd have to be either living under some extreme weather conditions, or washing your car every hour on the hour for it to be worthwhile to apply a coat of wax once a week.

A liquid polish (in-between wax) wouldn't be so bad - but don't break your back waxing/buffing it every week.

I used to wax my stang once a week on a saturday for cars shows/ cruising the strip. Trust me, wax wont hurt anything. It actually helps- on my white car anyway. If I neglect it, its a lot harder to clean. Besides who doesnt want to drive the cleanest stang in town.... if in need to know if its time for a waxing, lightly toss a cotton sock across the hood. If it sticks, WAX! If it glides across, your all good. I got mine to be a freakin' mirror....

you should paste wax once or twice a year, and every so often use like an Eagle One spray wax throughout the rest of the year.

the best time of year to wax, would be in the summer if youre planning on going to the beach. wax it right before you go to the shore, so the wax will protect your paint from the sand and salt in the air
