I have the same cat back and I think it sounds great. They sound even better with my MAC H pipe. Most people on this forum hate flows because of the drown. The drown really doesn`t bother me and its not as bad as most say. You should listen to some sound clips before you make your decision just to get an idea on what other catbacks sound like. Check out www.mustangexhaust.com if you havent already.

I have Flowmaster Super 40s and an H pipe.. They sound great!

However, it took some tweaking to get the sound I was looking for..

Flowmaster Super 40s + BBK X pipe = crap..
Flowmaster Super 40s + MAC H pipe = sweet..

Hope it helps..

I'm all for a good sounding exhaust.. However, price played a big part in my decission.. I picked up my Flows for $360 to my door.. Everything else was like $600+

The Flows work and sound good w/ the H pipe if you ask me.. I'm sure there are higher flowing, longer lasting and maybe even better sounding systems but for $360 you can't beat em..

just wait a few years, more people will have SLP than flowmaster

I love my American Thunder, sounds great at idle and when cruising. It is a lil loud on the highway for my taste but its not unbearable. See exhaust combo in sig, i can post soundclips if you would like.
