Ok, so, kids around my area are talking about trying to siphon peoples gas out of their cars... Now, I spend enough money on gas a month, I don't need to spend anymore. Is there any locking fuel door that I can buy? or, is there any way I can make it so you can't open it without a key/pushing a button/pulling a lever?? Thanks for your help

 

The best thing to do is get a locking gas cap but even those can be picked.

 

my car got syphened one time... and that was the end of it.. cuz i went out and got a locking gas cap the next day at Advance

 

I did the locking gas cap to...cheapest thing I ever did to my car...I think it was like $5 or so

 

Does anyone have pictures, or a website on where I can see what it looks like? thanks! Also, where can I find one? Vash, is that one made for mustangs, or is it a universal fit?

I got this fuel door (came with the car ) and a locking cap on my car plus It kind of looks nice.

 

Black_sunshine, that's exactly what I was looking for... You said it came with your car? I've found aftermarket ones that look like that, but they do not lock. Do you know where I could get one that looks like that, and also locks?

 

isnt there a screen inside the fuel filler neck to not only keep crap outta your tank but to also keep people from doing this exact thing? The old vehicles didnt have this but i believe all newer vehicles have it. I could be wrong but i think ive heard dat b4
