kyb SHOCKS
wHICH kyb SHOCKS ARE BETTER THE REG gas struts and shocks ones or these new gr-2?
I read the reg KYB shocks and struts are more heavy duty , and the gr-2s are more for comfort road apllications, anyone have the tips on that let me know. And also how hard is it it put the front struts in my 93 LX 5.0 , i have it lowered with the motorsport springs few years ago ,but never put shocks or struts in yet, I now have 97,000 miles on her, i think it time to replace. I also have replaced my sway bar bushings and end bushing links also, boy that was fun with the top bolts on the sway bar, to remove and tighten had to do with wrench on top and socket on bottom, by the way those plastic things that hold the bolts from turning are useless, the cracked and broke in half. anyway please some tell me about the KYB shocks i can get for 169$ front struts and rear shocks and quads ill do later
IM on a budget so i cant buy like KONI or Bilstin or Tokico Regards, Liquide OUT [&:]

RE: kyb SHOCKS
I've got them on mine, not the comfort ones but the other ones that aren't expensive. It was a big improvement over what was on there, I like them, def worth the money. As for the front ones the hardest part is breaking the bottom bolts loose. You'll probably at least need a 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar if not an inpact wrench. You'll need to take the rotors off to get good access to those bolts but that's about the extent of it. The top if just three bolts that are under the hood. All in all not too bad of an install. You will need to have the car on something and the jack under the control arm so you can lower it once the old ones are all unbolted.
