Those things are total BS
They are complete BS. An uncle of mine is a service tech at a Ford dealership up in NC, and every car/truck that comes in with a problem and has a tornado....the cause was always the tornado. I can't remember exactly what it he told me it did, but I just remember they are bad news.

those were designed for small displacement stock economy cars......if they were a scam or joke(to us they are)

they would pull them off the shelf....
exactly. i think theyre stupid and pointless, but i wont go around saying that they dont work at all. if you actually read those pages advertizing those things, they specifically say theyre not designed for engines over like 3.0L, as it will cause a performance loss or even engine damage

so yes, for anyone that owns a mustang (other than a 4banger stang), theyre not gonna work. but for people that drive around in little 1.8L hondas and crap like that, they'll work, because thats what theyre designed to be used for...

you just gotta realize, eventhough they say they only work on <3.0L engines, they still say that they have ones designed for cars (ie. 6er & v8 stangs) to get buyer's attention.

ORIGINAL: grabbem88

it's not swirl.....it's velocity...and what they call it turbolance....which in turn makes the intake have a windtunnel effect

so i guess when a s/c and turbo's lose there air speed in the intake?...

granite these devices have not as near the effect as a forced set up,but does create some.
bwahahaha

Guys, guys, guys.......seriously your better off just putting the "Tornado" decal on your fender, your bound to get a greater power gain from that. lol
