Is this going to be a problem?
After driving for 10 minutes or so in my 95 v6, the temperature guage goes up to the A in "NORMAL" and stays there. I never really drive the thing for more than 30 minutes straight and it isn't even very warm outside. Is this a sign that I'm going to have problems when the day comes that I have to drive for 2 hours in 90 degree weather or am I just being paranoid?
That's not normal, way too high... You could have a sticking thermostat, you may want to check that out (even replace it, a new thermostat is dirt cheap).
I had a 94 v6 before I bought my GT and I had the same problems with the temperature. I changed the thermostat, changed and flushed out the radiator system, always checked coolant levels - nothing worked. My head gaskets were blown. Matter of fact, those things blew on two different occasions.
I'm not saying that's what is wrong with your v6, but it's an expensive operation if so.

ShadowDrake: I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the thermostat
randy78045: The coolant level was actually very low, but I filled it up and the car's still running hot
SXGT: Checked; it's fine
cepowers18: The head gaskets were a big problem with these cars, weren't they? I bet that's the problem
