hey i was wondering if you can get a eaton supercharger for a 03 mach 1 because all i see are prochargers and i dont want one of those. i need to know if they make a supercharger for a mach 1 because i havent seen one. somebody help thanks

 

one from a cobra would work, however, your car has a much higher compression ratio then a cobra, so you could only run aboot 6-8 psi of boost, unless you want to go to forged internals and lower the compression out of a cobra motor

 

why on god's earth do you want an eaton?

 

i dont think an eaton would fit on your car with the shaker hood there. unless you get rid of the shaker hood, you'd have to go with a centrifical supercharger, which is what i would do, because the shaker hood with a supercharger, and maybe an intercooler would be a sick combo.

 

hey guys thanks for the answers i think i will get a whipple for a cobra and get low compression internals and new connecting rods so i can boost a whole lot more. well my friend has a stage 3 srt4 and i beat him with the mach bone stock. i love my car. he wont ever stand a chance now haha. ***** neon. im gonna keep the shaker hood and hide the supercharger under it and try to find a intercooler for it but it should be fine without one. thanks

ya but all those are prochargers. i want to put a whipple on it. i dont like prochargers i had one before and i dont like the spool sound. i rather have the wine. i know it sounds weird but spooling gets annoying.so i guess im gonna try to find a whipple for a svt cobra and get a cobra hood for my mach 1 so i can supercharge it

 

procharger, paxton, vortech, powerdyne, etc are all examples of centrifugal superchargers. you mention whipple, which is a twin screw design s/c, not an eaton

 

for a mach 1 i just like nitrous or centrifugal supercharging. (vortech or prochager)
