I just bought a short through short shifter and after i installed it i saw that i had some parts left over can any one tell me what they are and where they go?

 

No instructions?
They are the shifter stops. Although there are usually only 2 studs/bolts and the washers and the nuts are to lock them in place. What kinda shifter did you buy?

It was a Ebay buy here is the pic of what it came with. and i already put in the shift stop bolts they are the two bigger bolts in the pic.

Thats always the sign of a good mechanic when you have extra parts. A bad mechanic is always missing parts.

you have the ebay link of the product? wow i have no idea they made ebay short shifters.. if i knew i wouldn't have wasted money on my MGW shifter.

 

Trust me there's a huge difference between the 2 shifters. You didn't waste your money. Other way around I would say!

 

i think u just used the old bolts and those are the new bolts

I must agree, until you really have tried different shifters, the mgw is a great buy.
