Default Convertible Cover??????

My car didn't come with a book..... Does anyone know the corect way to install the top cover? I think I'm doing it right but it seems that it would fly off. Can't figure out the snaps!!!
Seems like it just sits in place without any fasteners.

Thanx..

you need to close both of the latches, then slide the back of the boot under the lip on the back by the trunk all the way around the car, then you need to insert the tab into the groove behind the rear seat and button it all up with the two buttons

Ok I noticed from other posts you have a 2000. Yea it's just like mustangmann has shown.

But why bother with it? I stuck mine on just to take this photo. Other than that I wouldn't waste my time carryihng that boot around..

yeah, too bad they didnt just make it like the fancier mercedes etc. A cover goes over the top and is all motorized. Very easy, and not a cheap looking boot to cover the top. Ford would have probaly considered the mustang to be a "luxury" car instead of a sports car with this upgrade.... It is a pain the azz, but for car shows, it does look kinda sexy
