I am just wondering what kind of gains I would have If I bought a 4.6 police interceptor for my 83 lx, VS the normal 302/ 351 swap. Does anyone know the factory hp ratings of a 4.6 PI? Then, how much of a pain in the *** is the 4.6 going to be over the others? Thanks.

 

Your not likely to get too many, if any responses to this thread since there are very few people whom have done the conversion. It's not easy nor cheap. In the long run; It'll cost you twice as much or more compared to building\installing a serious 5.0 IMHO.....
