why not just get an old t-56 off a viper and plop it in your car(easier said than done.) it will cost less and will handle alot more... plus i hear TKO's are notchy...

he's gonna be payin like 3 grand for the kit, then ontop of that, unless he has the tranny already, he's gonna spend a couple thousand on the transmission. id just put the money into a blower and maybe a stroker kit if youre trying to go big.

Well what am i supposed to do? Stock AODEs aren't worth anything. The price difference between a lentech automatic or TKO swap isn't enough to be concerned over which is "cheaper", and i'm not settling for a used transmission.
If i'm not mistaken, this kit includes the tko500. In the description list it reads: TREMEC TKO500, SHIFTER, HURST BILLET PISTOL GRIP ****, LEATHER SHIFTER BOOT, BELLHOUSING AND BLOCKPLATE, McLEOD STEEL FLYWHEEL AND 3 PIECE CLUTCH, FORD PRESSURE-PLATE BOLTS, ARP FLYWHEEL BOLTS, ROLLER PILOT BEARING, THROWOUT FORK, BELLHOUSING DUST CAN, CLUTCH CABLE, BILLET CLUTCH QUADRANT, FIREWALL ADJUSTER, CLUTCH PEDAL, LOWER FLOOR SEAL AND DRIVESHAFT SPACER.

just get a T-5, i cant imagine it being nearly as expensive. you can yank one out of an old car at like a junkyard for literally $60-$70, or you could easily find one that someone is selling for under $1000... and ive seen kits (dont ask where, i dont remember) for a AOD/AODE to T-5 conversions for just over $1000
