Default 92 vert question

I have a 92 lx 5.0 vert with long tubes cheap x pipe and 40 flows. I am getting about 10 - 12 miles a gallon on gas. It seems to be running quite rich. O2 sensora are hooked up. I was thinking about redoing the exhasue with higher quality parts the the rust headers and fake looking x-pipe that is on it. I also want to increas the economy a lil if possible. The engine is stock except for the under drive pulleys. any suggestions as far as shorty, equal lengh, flows, magna flows, ect. thanx

Well if you're gonna have to go through getting the old long tubes out then you may as well get new ones to put in.
