Miller Cycle Engine
Ok, I've read a few cars are now using a Miller Cycle Engine. Like the new hybrid Camry, and the Ford Falcon Futura Sprint GT/A.
What is it? How does it work? I mean, in the C&D article on the Futura Sprint, it says the 3.0 engine has a compression ratio of 10.0:1, but the "Effective Miller-cycle compression ratio" is 8.0:1. What gives?
I know I posted this in Off Topic too, but I thought maybe...MAYBE someone here might have the answer..
