Default Convertible top adjustments...

I bought my son a '94 Mustang convertible, and the driver side doesn't seal nearly as well as the passenger side. Is there a way to adjust the tension on the latch to pull the top down against the window frame? My local dealer pleads ignorance (which doesn't surprise me!) but they're always ready to write up a repair order to look at it.

Where exactly is the problem? I think you are talking about the frame and the top, is that right? I would just check to make sure the top is going all the way up before you try to latch it. My Driver side window doesn't seal properly sometimes but that is another story.......

I have a '95 convertible and have the same problem. When it rains, a few drops can come through the seal even though it is up. I am not sure how to adjust the top, but to fix the problem temporarily I used some silicone stuff to lube the rubber (haha) which made the seal more resistant to rain.
