so according to this forum, parts websites that sell gas tanks, and the fact that i ran out of gas and put 15.xx gallons in my tank, my 1997 gt has a 15.4 gallon tank. yet the owner manual says 20.0 gallons in the fluid capacities chart. what gives?

 

My gas tank holds 15.7 gallons.

Hmmm i always heard 15 and always filled up with about 14.xx

 

Mine is 15.7 too, I think ford is wrong though cause my tank doesnt seem to hold that much...
