With a 17x9 rim, you can put 285/40-17`s out back. I recommend that. It will look bad ***.
I would rather have a smaller tire up front. This way it makes the rears look bigger.
if i go with the 275 or 285 out back and like 225 in front will that throw off my handelin of ne thing havin much smaller tires in the front or should i stick with 245 up front
275`s or 285`s will fit fine and look good out back. If you put a 225 up front on a 9" wheel, it will look terrible. The sidewall will be stretched to the max. 245`s will look ok and thats the very least you should put on a 9" wheel.
