Default problems with wider wheels

So I've had my 9" wide wheels now for about 1/2 a year and my steering something (can't tell what) pops/ creeks when I turn right, and right only...could that be from the wider tires? Sound is coming from drivers side only.

There's a TSB on it. Mine started doing this before I got my wider wheels. It's the steering rack if I'm not mistaken (just going by the TSB)... but at any rate it's happening to my 04 too. Sounds a little like a pop/clunk/creak all mixed into one and only at like two spots on the turn to the right.

I had the same problem with an 04 Mustang. Ford fixed it free under warranty. There is definitely a TSB on it.

Exactly what mines doing...two spot on a right turn also! Will Ford fix it if I have "aftermarket" wheels?

The dealer will probly try to NOT fix your problem under warranty because of your aftermarket wheels.
If you still have your stock wheels, put them on.
If not, burrow a friends stock wheels for a day.

Didn't think of that! I guess that would be the surest way of getting them to do it...hope they don't give me crap for the other stuff I have, lol.

They shouldn`t say anything unless you have something else on your car that would interfear with your front suspension.
If not, you should be fine.

I have 18 inch Bullit Chrome rims, I took them off and put back the stock 16" when I took the car to the dealer. I suggest you do the same!
