Default Short throw shifters question.

I see allot of inexpensive short throw shifters on Ebay (about $100 less than big name ones). Anyone using these-are they any good or not? Need one for my race car and like to save money when I can. If they are junk, what's the best ones out there -Fidanza, Hurst, etc? Any help appreciated.

I hear tons of good things about MGW, Pro 5.0, and Steeda. I just ordered the MGW. I definately would not get the ones on EBay.

I'm sure I will. How much easier is 2nd-3rd transition. HAS to be better than stock, huh?

Bigtime difference from the sloppy stock shifter. You will never miss a gear with the MGW. It goes right into 3rd without a problem.

I guess I should have been more specific as this is for my 83 Fox bodied SCCA car. Checked MGW's site and they only have products for late model Mustangs. Any other good ones for the earlier cars. I'm sure Steeda is a good one and they are right near me.
