hey guys,anyone know what color eleanor was in gone in 60 seconds? sorry if i posted this in the wrong area..just wasn't sure what would be the best section for this.

Original Eleanor was a 1973 Mustang Mach I with yellow base coat and black striping. New Eleanor was 1965 Shelby Cobra 500 G/T silver base coat and black striping. If I am wrong, just correct me.

 

i think its more gunmetal than silver. maybe.

 

it is gunmetal, i have a question for the REAL ealanor fans, not the remake, did you ever shed a tear for all the cars brutally massacred in the original 40 minute chase scene...

 

r u kiding i cringed everytime the fender or rearend smacked into somthing, it was a good chase but ah man that poor car

Heh. I loved the movie. Haliki was awesome in that movie. Did you know Eleanor was built with a full Nascar roll cage? Also, every single car in that movie was owned by Haliki? The scene, in the 40 minute chase, where Haliki hit the pole and spun out? He really got injured in that scene and said it looked so cool that he kept it in the movie. And the scene where he jumps Eleanor off that car in the interception, the slow motion jump, was a record jump at the time. I loved that movie so much. KNow where I can find Haliki's other great movie, The Junkman?

 

actually, watch the first one again, it is NOT a MACH I! It had the MACH gas cap, but the wrong grille and hood!

As for a clone, please don't, it has been done too much already!
