Default smooth ride

i have a 99 gt, im wondering how can i make my ride smoother,ive driven many newer stangs and the ride is smoother, what should i do

Get the same springs and shocks on those smoother riding cars you've driven, and put them on your car.

That is a good point, most aftermarket springs are made to give you better traction for racing or better cornering, can't think of any off the top of my head with a much smoother ride. Although most progressive rate springs will probably be a little smoother in normal driving then the stocks assuming those are specific rate. If these other cars are owned by people you know just ask them what they've got and get the kind out of one you like.
