Default axle seal help please!

Guys I have a 94 5.0 with a problem. I was replacing my fuel pump for the 3rd time when i noticed some gear oil inside my driver side rear rim. To make a long story short I pulled the wheel off to replace the axle seal. I also pulled the brakes caliper and rotor off. I also pulled the diff cover off. i pulled out the black nut and the metal pin out of the spider gear housing. I also pulled the spider gears out ( by accident) i can not get the c-clip off the axle to pull the axle out. it is driving me crazy even when pushing the axle in from the end it still dont work....there is some kind of s clip? holding it in. please tell me what to do??? thanks alot guys!!

No clip holding them in. there should be a "s" clip in there though. Unless for some reason you got a **** rearend. Im not sure how though. Anywhoo....the spider gears will go back in no problems. But you should just push in front the outside of the axle, and then they should pretty much fall out. If not i use a screwdriver and dont hit them, just give them a lil push. If they dont come out yet, there is something in their way.... ie: Spider gears.

PM if you need anymore help.

I can't recall a 100%, but don't the 94's have ABS brakes?? The rear abs sensor that is bolted to the brake caliper bracket/flange is not letting the axle slide all the way in to remove the c-clip. Simply remove the sensor and you will get an extra 1/2" or of inner axle movement.
